My kids enjoy reading stories. So I was excited to try FarFaria with them.

October meant many birthdays in my family. My grandma, dad, brother, and niece all had a birthday. Plus we have some anniversaries in Oct. It is a busy month. So what is a gift that I can get any of them? See's Candy of course! See's Candy has always been a family favorite. My grandma Anna used empty See's candy boxes as a decoy. People would get used to the box having something else in it and stop looking inside the box. Then she could replace the decoy box with one with candy and eat them without anyone knowing. Otherwise the candy box would be empty immediately as everyone always wanted a piece. My mom and dad's favorite seems to be the box of truffles.

On Friday the movie Big Hero 6 came out in theaters. I was fortunate enough to be able to take my 2 kids to see this movie before it opened in theaters. My son age 4 had never seen a movie in theaters before. This was his first movie. He was a bit wiggly and excited before the movie started.  He loved the 3d glasses.
