HI guys its Katie. As you may have seen my main blog url is down so now I have to use .blogspot.com Any who here is what has been going on. My husband got laid off of work 2 weeks before Christmas!!! That was a really low blow and put me in a bad place. So the end of the year was hard. But I knew he would find a job. And while we had a few really close ones... nothing worked out. So we moved back to CO and live with my sister in law for 6 months before my husband got a job. So blogging for me really was a set back I just was not feeling it. I missed doing it but did not really have a computer to blog with. Now we are moving again!!! But this time it is into our own place. I am going to work really hard on coming back and talk to the few followers I have. I have never been a big blogger before. I have not made more then maybe $50 a year on my blog. I know there are some blogs that have but I have not been that luck. I started my blog to help new moms, and I want to do that again...

Where do I even being?! We moved out of Az and to CO about a week ago. We have moved/lived his once before when my oldest was 1. At that time we had never head of something called altitude sickness. We went camping the first day or two once we got to CO. We went on something called pikes peak and its a big one. Aiden was breastfeeding at the time, so I knew something was wrong when he would feed and then it would all come right back out. Needless to say we got him off the mountain and called a urgent care and they told us all about altitude sickness. Aiden was find within a few hours of being off the big mountain. Any how we knew that this might happen again when we moved again. Not like we where going to go up that mountain again but it is still a higher altitude then what they where used to. So Noah was acting a little sick we thought it was just that. Then a few days later he would wake up crying.... well that was when we saw the molars. We just kinda brushed it off and gave him s...

When you have a baby life does not stop. Dinner needs to get made, housework is waiting, but when baby is fussy you have to stop and make them happy. Babywearing is a way you can keep doing the things in life that have to done but keep baby close and happy. Babywearing allows you to bond with baby and have your hands free. I know babywearing has saved the day may times over Chris' life. He just turned three and still has days he goes up. If you are new to babywearing it is hard to know where to start. I like to suggest to new moms to try out a stretchy wrap, like Wrapy  babywrap. A stretchy baby wrap is comfortable for baby and mommy and because you wrap and tie the wrap on they work for any body type and they grow with your baby. This gives you the most bang for your buck. ThinkFun created another fun family friendly game. The Yoga Spinner is great for ages 5 and up.    The goal of the game is to get one card from each color card, white, green, red and blue. You spin and whatever color you land on you pull a card and do the pose on the card, if you can do and hold the pose for 10 seconds you get to keep the card. The white card is a two person pose, all people playing are to do this pose when a white card is pulled. If you land on a smile you can steal a card, a sad face you loose a card. Question mark is opponents' choice and the joker is players choice.

I always talk about how important it is to drink water. One of the ways it is easy to get your water in is to keep a great water bottle handy. For me  glass bottle or stainless steel bottle give the best clean flavor. Glass and a toddler is not always a great mix, they can get broken and can be heavy. Stainless steel is a great way to have  clean flavor without the worry of breaking. 

I don't know about you but my little one loves to pull on things when he is breastfeeding. Most of the time this means my hair. I have tired holding his hand and while this is sweet and nice, most time he will not hold onto my hand for long. So how do you get your baby to stop pulling your hair? I love using essential oils in place of perfume but don't like using them from the bottles they come in because it makes them hard to apply. I also like being able to mix my own oils to come up with my own signature scent. Roller bottles like the ones from 2PM  are a great way to mix your own oils and apply them easily. Man life is stressful. You know it is. It might be the best thing in the world but it is also stressful. So how to we relieve some of that stress? I have found that one days that I am just really overwhelmed I like to take a warm bath and put a warm compress over my eyes. Well I have started to use Zenik Eye Mask . This eye mask can be used hot or cold, and it is not made of rice like other are. This one is made from Lavender Flowers and Organic Flax Seed. The lavender is a great way to relieve some stress, and  inflammation . So as most of you can tell I have not done much blog post in a month. Well now I can tell you all why. Ryan (my husband) got laid off of work right before Christmas and I was at a lost. I was angry. We did not see it coming. They kept telling him he was fine and he is doing a great job, this really came out of no where. He is still without a job, but we do have a safety net so we are ok on money for a little while. Then to top thing off. I think I ether has really bad PMS starting. Or I have PPD (postpartum depression). My baby is almost 11 month and I am still breastfeeding, but every 3 week for 3 days..... I am.... well lets just say its bad. I break down, I lose it, I don't hit or beat anyone but I am at a lost. So I am trying to pick up for where I was and get some help. Thank you to not only my reader but the company who are working with us to do reviews.
