I am sure some of you have heard about Kidco most before. They are this great company that (as far and I knew) made some great baby gates. They have all different kinds. From ones that swing open, to ones that you can make round so your kids can have a small play area. They also make them in different colors too. But I'll talk more about that later. I want to tell you about the other cool things Kidco makes that I never knew about. Like baby food makers .

Its SPRING TIME!!!! That means its time to find your bathing suits, break out your shorts and find some fun outdoor games for you kids. How about two things that kids love more then anything, water and bubbles! Aiden got to pay with his first bubbles the other day, and now he is hooked. Ever time he see his new bubble gun he jumps up and down, and wines until he gets it. We got this great box full  of some really run bubble blowers and even some water balloon makers. What kids (or adult) does not like to throw water balloons?!?!

SunBaby is a cloth diaper company that sells affordable cloth diapers. I was given the opportunity to review a pocket diaper from them. The company is in China and so these diapers are made in China. However, the company claims to follow fair labor laws. I received a one-size pocket diaper in circle print and 2 microfiber inserts. The diaper is a pocket style which means that it has an opening in the back where you can stuff it with an insert. You can add more inserts to accommodate heavy wetters or for overnight.

Do you ever get tired of the same kid's music and lullabies? I do! I don't want to hear the same boring kids song night after night. However, that is of course is what my kids want. Thankfully, Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar came to my rescue. How? They created lullaby versions of everyday music. Songs that I enjoy listening to over and over again are now in a calming lullaby version. First let me tell you a little bit about the company. Twinkle Twinkle Little Rockstar works with various artists and genres of music. So there is something for whatever your musical taste may be. They are also a green company. What does that mean to you? Well they don't produce physical Cd's. Cd's that will just sit on shelves. You can get their music as a digital download. Ever since my daughter was born, I've been making photo books. Emarose loves to look through her books or her brother's photo books. I thought I'd share the current one I'm making. It is from Dec. 2010-Dec 2011 and covers my daughter at age 3. I will order this book in the next couple of days.  If you have any suggestions to make it better feel free to let me know. My son has got the worse dry sensitive skin ever and I mean EVER! Most of the time we try to give him a bath with oatmeal to help with his dry skin. But once I found Natue's Baby Organices I was in love. As you might (should lol) have read this month is all about detoxing and eating right. We have covered everything from foods to cloth diapers to fertile detoxing. Now I am going to touch more on detoxing your kids. When I say detoxing that does not always mean what they are eating, its about getting any harmful chemicals out of and off the body. Hi there, Can you believe that Easter is only a few weeks away? I can't. What are some of your Easter Traditions? So far, I can't say that my family really has many. We decorate Easter eggs, hide and find plastic Easter eggs (For some reason we've never hidden the eggs we decorate.), and we attend Church. Usually the afternoon is spent with grandparents. I've thought about doing some crafts for Easter since my daughter is now 4 and could do some simple ones. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Also I have no clue what to do for their Easter baskets. Both my 4 year old, and my 20 month old already have lots of toys and books. I don't need more junk in the house. I'm desperately trying to figure out how to organize what I already have. What do you do for baskets? I was thinking maybe I'd get my daughter a princess trashcan or some sort of storage bin for her room. However I'm not sure what to fill it with. I'll put some candy in it, ...

Ok, I know that's an odd title, but it's fitting. ;) As an aspect of eating more healthily, I've been incorporating green smoothies into my diet almost every day. The basis of my smoothie theory is: if it's extremely healthy, such as a fruit or vegetable or nut, it's going into the blender! I know: extremely gourmet. You need to have a fairly decent blender for this if you're going to start throwing in things like carrots. Here's a picture of my latest endeavor. It has spinach, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, celery, hemp seeds, sliced almonds, chia gel, an apple, an orange, water and a little POM juice. It was sooo filling and I kept an extra Nalgene bottle in the fridge for later. There's probably no way I could eat that much healthy food at once, but blended up, it's very easy to get those vital nutrients.  The nuts and seeds provide healthy fat, extra fiber and protein to help sustain you longer, regulate blood sugar and they just ...

So as you may now know from the last post there are some really good reasons why you should cloth diaper your child. And with everyone doing it I really wanted to jump on the gain and try to cloth diaper myself. But I was really worried that it was going to be hard, it's not. It was so easy, you just have to change how you do a few things. Thanks to SoftBums I was not only able to get a diaper to review but I had won one on a blog right after they agree to let me review one. So I got to start off with two diapers from them. While two may not be enought to get aiden off disposable diapers it's enought to help me get a good feel for how to cloth diaper.

So as you all can tell this month we are going to over detoxing your body. But what about detoxing your children? Well lets start with the very first thing that they put on when they are born. Their diapers! While I am still not cloth diapering full time I will be by the time baby #2 comes. For many reasons, one in long the long run it is cheaper (I'll break it down for you) and two its non toxic.

My 4 year old daughter, Emarose enjoys singing the ABC song. She also insists on me singing her the Aah Buh Cuh (ABC letter sounds) song each night. She has me sing it several times, and now she can sing most of the song without help. I take pride in helping my daughter enjoy learning whether it be the alphabet, writing letters, counting, etc. I constantly look for opportunities to teach her while making it fun. I received a copy of the DVD Letter Sounds from RockNLearn. My daughter doesn't watch much T.V., but when she does I like to make it educational. I like that she is learning something. She has now begun to say the letter sounds along with the DVD and even sometimes she will say them during the day while she is playing. It gets 2 thumbs up from my daughter!

Now that we have talked about good way to get pregnant and you are getting on track we need to take some test. Test to find out when you are ovulating, after all knowing that is going to help you get pregnant. But how do you know when to start taking an ovulation test? Thanks to  early-pregnancy-tests.com  we are going to help you find out. You must first know how long your menstrual cycle is. To find this out you must keep track of when your first day of your period is until when you start again. Find this out can take a few months of tracking (there are some cool apps for your phone to find this out).   When I first got pregnant with Aiden I think I read 10 pregnancy books. Not all at once of course, it was over time but I really loved read them. So I was asked to read some books about how to get pregnant in more of a natural way (and healthy) I was really excited. Most of the pregnancy books out there are for once you are pregnant not so much about how to get pregnant. Sure ok we all know HOW you get pregnant but what about if you are having problems, or have been trying for awhile? Each book covers things to do,things to eat, and other think to help boost not only yours but your partners fertility. If you remember a little while ago I did review on a great fertility yoga DVD . Well thanks to Fairhaven health you are not only going to get that great yoga DVD. But you are also going to FertileDetox pill. FertileDetox is  designed for both males and females to take. You should take them about 3 months before actively trying to conceive up until you find out you are pregnant. The pills are really easy easy to take, you take one 3 times a day. So the best time to remember to take them is breakfast, lunch and then dinner. I have been taking the pills for about a month with no problems. In fact I have found that nails have grown so long, kinda like when you are taking prenatals.

As a mom, I'm often very busy. I spend almost all of my time taking care of my kids. Plus I work part-time. Both me and my husband work until late in the evening. By the time we get home, it's time to eat dinner, and put the kids to bed. Then we just want to go to bed ourselves. So we rarely focus on each other. Due to lack of quality time together we struggle with our relationship. I tend to see the negatives- how he isn't doing this or that, and how he used to do such and such. What could be more important than taking care of the only body we have so we can not only lead successful, healthy and happy lives, but to be around for a long time for our loved ones? We live in a society that is, in my opinion, over-flowing with overabundance. But, if you look closely, it is often an overabundance of JUNK! Yep, junk! It can be overwhelming to read so much information and figure out where to start getting your health on track (or if you're already healthy, STAYING healthy!).
