Giada De Laurentiis now at Target

From Food Network to your home, Giada De Laurentiis now has her own line of cooking products. With Christmas just a few days away I can't think of a better time bake some yummy foods. Head over to Target where you can find Giada's bakeware and food. I was really excited when I got this box in the mail, because there was more in there then I was expecting!

In the boxes I got:

Cookware/Bakeware:

  •  2-Quart Ceramic Oval Baker
  •  9” Ceramic Pie Pan
  •  Silicone Spoonula with Stainless Steel Handle
  •  3-Piece Plastic Bowl Set with Pour
  •  Stainless Steel Balloon Whisk
  •  Stainless Steel Measuring Cups
Food Products:
  •  Giada Blend Coffee
  •  Marinated Sun Dried Tomatoes
  •  Black Olive Tapenade
  •  Marinated Roasted Red Peppers
  •  Marinated Mushrooms
  •  Genovese Basil Pesto
  •  Eggplant & Pepper Pesto
While I have not made much with it yet, I was saving the cooking for this weekend. We are having a big Christmas dinner! The mixing bowls I would have to say are my favorite thing I got for Giada, because they have a nonslip base. I can't tell you how many time I have tried to mix things and the blow has slipped.
I am looking forward to making some pie and green bean casserole in my new dishes. This really is going to be the best Christmas. And don't worry April or I are going to be sharing recipes and picture of what we made!

Here try this recipe out:

Giada De Laurentiis for Target® Ceramic 2.5-qt. Covered Casserole Dish

COOKING
INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour to coat lightly. In braiser, heat oil over medium-high heat. Working in batches, cook chicken until brown, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer to plate. Add onion, garlic and oregano to braiser; sauté until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes with juices, broth and capers. Return chicken to braiser. Simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes.
Transfer chicken to platter. If necessary, boil sauce longer until slightly thickened. Spoon sauce over chicken; sprinkle with basil.
