Something that every new mom needs is a good swing. I am cheap so I got lucky when someone in our apparent was moving out they had a swing they wanted to get ride of. So we took it home, its a nice swing. But here is my only BIG problem, its big. Can't really move it around if you need to be in another room. I mean you could but its a lot of work to do that. So I have been looking around for a smaller, more portable baby swing.  So I am grateful to be able to try  Comfort & Harmony Swing in Sandstone Fashion .

I love to buy my kids Halloween costume early, for many reasons. One of which is so they can have fun cloths to play dress up in, or if there are any costume parties, or to make sure he has something before it is to late. Have you ever had that happen to you, forget how fast Halloween comes up and then you end up not dressing up or just throwing something together? There is nothing better then having food with you when you are out with your little ones. It always seams like they are hungry when you can't feed them.   With tw o little boys you can only guess how messy they get!  Whether  its playing at the park, eating, crafting you name they always make a mess. How to become child's friend being new parents-Gust post Parenthood bestows new responsibilities upon all those who pass through this phase. While being the caretaker of your child, one often forgets that the young child also requires a friendly treatment from you. This often brings us to the question that if we can be a friend to our children. Contrary to what many child psychologists point out it is not a difficult task to be friends with your children, despite being new parents. Follow the below listed steps and you will find it an easy task to be on friendly terms with your child.

Now that Aiden is almost 2 1/2 his little arms are not so little anymore! He can go around and turn on every light switch in the house. But he can't quite reach to turn it off. I can't begin to tell you how many time I have found him on a chair or something to try and turn the light off. Last thing I want is for him to fall trying to turn the lights off. Or me saying something like, "Aiden turn your light off when your not in your room" just to remember that he can't reach it to turn it off. I needed to find a way to fix this, other then me going in his room every 5 mins to turn the light off! Luckily for me someone else was having the same problem and found a way to fix it. It is called the  KidSwitch  and it goes right on light switch. I happen to have one of the older light switches. You know the one with the toggle, now a days it seams like most people have the Decora switch. So don't worry Kid Switch has thought of us both and made a product for both. 

I had a good iPad case, for my purse but what about when Aiden wants to play with it? Lets face it kids are not always the most gentle when it comes to playing with things. This past week has been a hard one for me. While I love being a SAHM I sometime wish I could work a little just so we can save a little more money. So I decided to try out working at a day care center her in CO. After all that is what I was doing in AZ and I loved working with the kids. But after about two phone calls and an interview I learned that there is no way I would be able to work in CO as a day care teacher. Here is CO they require every teacher to take 12 credit hours of ECE (early childhood education). That comes out to about a year of school, because you can't take ECE 104 with out ECE 101. When I was 18 and right out of school, I never really did the college thing, and now I wish I had...

On Sunday we thought Aiden got pink eye and where about to take him in to see a doctor. However he was not really having any gunk coming out of his eyes they where just red. That was when I heard from a friend to use a drop of breastmilk in the eye! I think I about fell over laughing at first, but she told me she did it to her son and it cleared up faster. So for the last three days I have been doing it and it seams to help. That was when I though, what else can breastmilk do for you other then feeding your little one and where is what I found: 

While Logan maybe the good sleeping in this family, Aiden still have problems going down and staying down at times. I have a bed time routine that does help. Dinner, play, bath, book, bed. But most of the time the bath wakes him up because he loves to splash the water! When I buy bath washes and bubble bath, I have two big factors I have to look at. One is it hypoallergenic and does it have lavender in it. Lavender because it is great for the skin and helps to relax your little ones. Ok guys I just had to share this with you. Last night we had a family and my sister asked me to bring dessert. Not knowing what to make I turned to pintrest and found this great Apple pie Chimichangas recipes that I just had to try. We have been potty training Aiden off and on for a few months now. We started even before he turned two. While we where not expecting him to get it we just wanted him to become comfortable with the idea of sitting on the potty, and he was doing great. That is until baby brother came around, then he wanted to be the baby again. We had started to teach Aiden sign language when he was about six months. I had won a babysigns set awhile back and just put the DVD on in the background. So when it came to potty training, I saw that they had a potty DVD too.
