Lakeshore Build It yourself woodworking kit

Image
My 4 year old son likes tools and anything that involves using a hammer. He has enjoyed going to Home Depot or Lowe's for their build it projects. When I saw that Lakeshore offered a build it yourself woodworking kit , I knew he would love it. The kit includes a lightweight hammer, nails, instructions for multiple projects and more. Comes in a 7 3/4" x 12" box. Over 80 pieces come in the kit.   The first project that my 4 year old decided to make was the train. My daughter made a bank. They have also made a name plate. Their is the big heart shaped one that comes in the shape section plus a heart shape one in the number section. The preschoolers all enjoyed using the stencils. Before the first use we did have to punch out all the inside pieces. That part was easy and I decided to keep the insides. The little shapes, and pictures are fun for my kids to play with or use to practice counting. My kids have created numerous pictures using these stencils. Another activity we did was use a paint brush with just water. We placed the

I have 2 kids ages 7 and 4. They are always looking for something to do. One thing that can keep them both busy is crafts. I was pleased to get a chance to review the All in one Craft tub from lakeshore. The kit comes with an idea booklet that includes ideas of crafts that you can make using the kit. Some ideas include a butterfly mobile, friendship bracelets, puppets, and picture frame.
