Rock N Learn States and Capitals Giveaway

I've worked with RockNLearn two times over the past several months and I love them.  My daughter has several of the DVDs including Colors, Shapes, and Counting and Letter Sounds. The company has excellent customer service and a variety of educational products to choose from. My daughter loves to watch the DVDs and is excited when a new one comes in the mail.

So I was thrilled when I heard that they have now come out with ibooks for the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. My daughter has basically decided that my iPad is hers. So I like to load it with educational games and books for her to use.

She was able to review the States & Capitals ibook. My daughter is just starting Kindergarten in the Fall and the book is designed for students in grades 4-12. So needless to say it is above my daughters level. However that didn't stop her from enjoying the book.
Fun songs to help you learn
To begin with the book has a couple of different songs that help you to learn the States and Capitals. Also included is colorful illustrations and facts about each state. Then the states are broken up into regions and using the interactive pages you can quiz yourself to see if you know the states & capitals.

I like that this book exposes my daughter to higher learning and makes it fun. This is a fun way to teach her about the state we live in and where other family members live.  I highly recommend this book.

I have always wanted to learn all of the states and capitols in order, but never did when I was young. This would be fun for my kids to have so they can be smarter than me (at least, in this area). :-)
