Summer Cloth Sponsor Spotlight: The green nursery
It is summer here in AZ. Which means the weather is HOT! To beat the heat my kids are taking swimming lessons at the local pool. As a cloth diapering mom, I can't imagine buying disposable swim diapers. Especially since I'd be using them on a daily basis. I can't afford that, and I also don't want to create all that waste. Thankfully there are cloth swim diapers out there.

The Swimmi I received is in the clownfish print. I love the fish on this swim diaper and so does my son. He says fishie every time I get this out. If this print isn't what you like, they have other fun cotton prints available.
The swimmi comes in 4 different sizes. S- 9-15 lbs, M- 15-22 lbs, L 22-30 lbs, and XL 30 lbs and up. This swim diaper has an adjustable hook and loop closure. This allows you to get the perfect fit. The bindings are made from stretchy soft lycra to protect your baby. The interior is made up of a polyester mesh for easy clean ups. Thankfully I haven't had any messy diapers while wearing this. However, I love that it has features to make clean up a breeze.
What I love:
Reusable. No more wasted $ on disposable swim diapers.

Trim & attractive- fits nicely even on my skinny legged kid.
Improvements:
I have mixed feelings on the hook & loop closure. My son can undo them which means that I can't let him run around in just the swim diaper. I must use a swimsuit over this so that he won't be running around Naked. Hook & loop allows a perfect fit and is quick, however I like snaps because it prevents my son from undoing it. I would love to see this swim diaper made in a snap closure.
