Is it to late for Halloween Costumes this year?
Halloween is quickly approaching. Have you kids picked costumes yet? If not you can still get a costume before Halloween from Costume Discounters.
I was sent the Thomas the Tank Costume for review purposes.

Before I begin talking about the costume I want to mention the selection and customer service. When my daughter first looked at the website to choose a costume she had several she wanted. Her choices included a ladybug, mermaid, enchanted princess, and a pirate. That was after she had narrowed it down some. She finally chose the Cute Lady Bug Costume.
The costume arrived within days and my daughter was excited to try it on. She loved that it included the headpiece, wand, and shoe pom poms. She put it on right away, but unfortunately was a little bit too tall for this costume. The costume has Velcro that goes across the bottom under my daughter's bottom. That is where it was bothering her. I'm sure if she wasn't so tall it would have fit her fine. Costume Discounters had no problem letting us exchange the costume for something else. In fact, they do free exchanges and they will pay the shipping both ways. You don't have to worry about the costume not being what you want. However, if you are worried about sizing please take measurements and look at the size chart.
Since I had to get a different costume, I tried to get my daughter to choose again. As she is almost 5 she sometimes has trouble making decisions and cooperating. So I ended up picking a costume for her brother instead. We chose the Thomas costume.
Again shipping was fairly fast. Costume arrived and was ready for my kids to wear. I figured since my youngest is a little over 2 and my daughter is not quite 5 it would fit them both. They both love to play with trains, and enjoy watching Thomas. Thomas included the foam train overlay and engineer cap.
The Thomas train is one size fits most up to age 6. On my youngest son it is a little bit long. I expected that, but he could wear it without tripping or anything. It fits my almost 5 year old girl great. It is easy to take on and off. The 2 year old can even do it himself. That is a plus since my 2 year old likes to do things by himself.
This costume looks durable and I'm sure it will hold up for awhile. When Halloween is over I can see this costume still being played with a lot as a dress up favorite. As an added bonus, I know have something not so girly in our dress up stuff. This is great since my son likes to do what his big sister does.
Make sure you like costume discounters on twitter. Then think of them the next time you need a Halloween or Dress up costume.
