Ye have been warned: giveaways

So awhile back Heather had to disqualifie some people from giveaways because they said they did something when they did not. I will be the first to admit that I do not always check the entries.... till now. We have three giveaways going on right now and a few blog hops coming up. So I decided that as of today I am going to go through ever giveaway that's going on and check to make sure you are doing what you said your doing. I am not trying to be mean or hard but it does help our number and helps us give you better products to win if you are following the rules. What I will do this time is check every entire, and if you did not give me the right info or did not do something I will be emailing you asking you if you still want a chance to win the product. If you do then you will need to fix the few things (I will link it for you) you ether did not do or did not give me the right info for. After this months giveaways have been fixed I will not email you again, I will just disqualifie you from that giveaway.

This is to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to enter and win. Thank you to everyone who is doing it the right way.

As a blog owner and someone that enters blogs, emailing them and asking to fix isn't fair and will get annoying after a while of needing to do it all the time.

You can't check FB a lot of times because the fan page only shows 500 fans back. If their profile is private, you won't be able to see their liked list.

You should disqualify the person if you find them cheating the first time vs giving them a chance because you have long time followers that DO everything you request and you'll be letting the cheaters win

I agree with Michelle; I would not e-mail them. And she's right re. checking on FB, you can only go back the last 500 followers.

I was recently completely turned off one blog because the blogger would sent NUMEROUS e-mails right away saying, "You're not an e-mail subscriber." When all she needed to do was wait an hour and let me verify the subscription. She later sent an e-mail out saying I now put more entry options on the giveaway, etc. All this to say, be careful when e-mailing people.

I just want to say that I have run into problems with my facebook likes. I am over 5,000. I actually have 5,161 likes. Sometimes I will delete some so that I can like another. It will show up as I have liked that new site and a few days later facebook may have deleted my new like. I just want you to keep in mind that these kinds of things do happen. I would delete a lot of my likes, but I have entered giveaways and honestly don't know which ones I can delete. I hope I have given you a new perspective.
