Just Eyewear (12 days of gifts galore)
A couple months ago I decided it was time to visit the eye doctor. I haven't been in a couple of years (I know I should've gone sooner but just never managed to get it done.) I decided to get contacts, but still needed an updated pair of Glasses to use.
Thankfully I was given the opportunity to review a pair of glasses from Just Eyewear. I choose to review the OGI 3011 543 Matte Indigo frames. I choose to get a thinner lens due to my high prescription and I also added the ant-reflective coating. Total for my glasses and lenses came to $55.95. I love that the glasses didn't cost a fortune. The frames were only $7.95. I got a pair with lenses and all for much less than I would have spent on frames alone at an Eye Glass Store.
The website had tons of frames to choose from. I liked being able to narrow by frame size, style or color. The frame I ended up buying was one that had similar measurements as a frame I already owned.
The ordering process was fairly easy. I just grabbed my eye glass prescription and filled in the numbers that they asked for. I did make one mistake when entering my Pupillary Distance. I entered 30 instead of 60 because I misread my prescription. Thankfully Just Eyewear got the mistake and asked me about it before my glasses were shipped.
Due to the mistake on the Pupillary Distance my glasses took much longer to arrive than I would have liked. I had emailed the correction, but they didn't receive it. So I was waiting for them to ship them, and they were waiting on me. Once I checked on it again and found out they hadn't received my email with the correction the item was shipped out in a timely manner.
Included with my glasses was a hard case and cloth, plus a tiny screwdriver. I like this because it allows me to take good care of my frames and lenses. They offer free returns and even cover shipping expenses if you need to return the glasses.
My glasses took me a couple of days to get adjusted too. The fit was different from my other glasses and didn't sit quite the same way on my face. These glasses were slightly smaller than my other pair. They fit fine it was just something I wasn't used too. Within days I had adjusted and I liked how they fit.
If you wear glasses you'll want to check out Just Eyewear. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
