Getting to spend time at home with the kids is the best and most rewarding job that many mums could ever imagine. Of course, it doesn’t bring in income, but if you can afford as a family to spend those early years being there for your children, you will be able to give them a priceless gift in the type of parenting that you can offer them.

That’s not to say it’s easy, and realistically, most stay at home mums these days will also have part-time work that they fit around their kids. Being at home with the kids all day can be exhausting and leave you feeling wiped out at the end of the day.
So it’s great to have some ‘me time’ every now and then. But best of all, is when your ‘me’ time doesn’t cost you anything. Of course, there’s always the option of switching on the TV and watching something, but you don’t always have time to spare for an entire programme, and also, how often is it that you can find something you actually want to watch?
Now that most of us have access to the internet at home and on our mobiles all day, every day this has opened up whole worlds of entertainment. You can find so many different diversions online it’s difficult to know where to start. But the internet has made it possible to try things you might never have done off-line as it’s all there, at your fingertips. A great example is playing online bingo, which is cheap to play and can be very social. What’s more there’s no money needed to play bingo here anymore as so many bingo sites offer a range of free games.
You might never have gone to the effort of going to a real bingo hall as it would involve a level of commitment to the idea in the first place. You’d have had to book a babysitter, get dressed up to go out and pay for the privilege of trying something that you may or may not have actually enjoyed doing.
However, if you look online there are now so many different sites where you can try out different bingo games, and often you can do this for free. So why is it that you can play for free? It’s simple really. All the sites want to recruit new members and the best way for them to do that is by setting up games that everyone can play for nothing. It gives the players a taste of what kind of games are out there, and if they like what they find, they’ll be more likely to sign up with the site that they’ve played for free on.

Of course, you never know if you’re going to be a winner when you start playing a game of online bingo. But it’s quick to play and can provide you with a relaxing way to unwind for a few minutes, before you go back to whatever you have to do. There’s also the possibility to engage with other players in the bingo chat rooms, which can be a real boon for mums who find that they day at home can be a little lonely sometimes, especially for those moments when you yearn for some grown-up interaction!
