I struggle with finding adequate storage for items in my house. So when I was given the chance to review
Shoe Storage Boxes from
Brylane Home I was super happy.

This is a set of 10
plastic shoe boxes with lids that snap tight. They measure 4 1/2"H x 8
1/4"W x 13 1/2" L. The boxes are see through so you can quickly see
what's inside. The lids keep out dust and dirt. The boxes are stack-able
which allows for space saving storage.
Why was I so
excited about shoe boxes? For several reasons. First, my kids have
several pairs of shoes that were just thrown in a pile on their floor or
on the floor of the laundry room. I was tired of seeing the messy floor
and piles of shoes. I was also tired of searching for missing shoes
because they were just thrown off any place. Now with these boxes, I can
clean up the floors and contain the mess of shoes. Having a specific
place to take off and put shoes also helps eliminate missing shoes. I
could fit several pairs of kids shoes in one box. The box was also
plenty big enough to hold a pair of my shoes.

Second, I can use these boxes to store different
toys. I like how I can organize the kids toys. The boxes help keep the
clutter off of the floor. They also help make it easier for my kids to
pick up their toys and put them away where they belong. I have chosen
to put Potato Heads in one, toy trains in another, etc. We then just
stack the boxes on a shelf and when they want a group of toys they only
need to pull out that box. No more dumping out tons of toys just to find
the one small item they want. When they do dump the 1 box, it isn't
super hard to pick up. Everything just goes back in the box and the lid
gets put on it. Keeping clean up simple makes it easier for my 3 year
old and 5 year old to help with the process. My 3 year old even gets all
excited because he can do it himself and doesn't need help putting his
toys away.

They had no problem sending me out a lid and I received it within a few days.
