DayLight Saving times, #PampersSleepChat

It is that time of year again, time to set your clockes back and get one more hour of sleep. That is unless you have kids then they get get up and hour early! When I lived in Arizona I never had to worry about that, but now taht I am in CO I have to make some changes. My boys are 2 (almost 3) and 10 months. So I would like to keep them on a good sleep pattern. Not only that but I also don't want to wake up my kids up every few hours to see if they need a diaper change. Becasue of this I am so excited to be working with Pampers and Kim West on sleep tips for daylight saving time.

Lets start by talking about Pampers Baby Dry diapers, with 12 hour overnight protection. They come in sizes 1-6. They have an Ultra Absorb core, tgree katers if absirbency vs. two, snug, and with fun graphics like Elmo and Cookie Monster. Ok really so here is what I think about it. The last few nights Aiden has been wetting the besd as have Logan. So we have been looking back into getting a night time diaper for them. Well not only did it last 12 with Logan but also a good BM!! Without a blowout might I say. Most of the time with the other brand I have to change him once he gets fup and then again a few minutes after he poops. Logan is good about going about 5 minutes after he gets up.

Now then about the daylight savings time tips.

  • slowly a week before start putting your kids to bed 15-30 minutes early
  • Make sure your kids are getting a good nap in during the day
  • Think about getting some blackout curtanins and using a sound machine
  • Try to get them to go back to sleep until at least 6am, keep it dark and don't let them out
  • Make sure you change your babies diaper right before bed/nap times
  • Get outside, let them run around before bedtime get them tired
  • Stick to your flexible schedule
  • Make sure that your kids bedtime is age appropriate
  • Keep to the bedtime routines to help establish and sooth bedtime
  • IF you do have a child who is getting up before 6:00am, make sure that you respond to early rising quickly and consistently.

This is just a few things that Kim West has sed to do to help get you and baby though this. I know with my boys bedtimes are hard with the Daylight savings time thing. We try to get them to eat dinner at 5, bath by 6:30 and bed by 8pm. Now we have been doing things a little early due to the change so. Well it worked so well that Aiden is starting to go to bed by 7 or 7:30 now!

Also I wanted to let you know we got some cute PJs for Logan from The Children's Place. OH wait one more cool thing, there is going to be a twitter party coming up November 7th at 9pm EST.
