Raccoon Rumpus

I love spending quality time with my kids. One way that I do that is with games. So I was pleased that Educational Insights sent me the game Raccoon Rumpus to review.

Raccoon Rumbus is a game that is designed for ages 3 and up. It can be played with 2-4 players and has a S.R.P. of $14.99.
A game of costumes, critters, matching, and memory! Raccoons have raided your closet and now they’re having a party. Help these masked bandits get dressed—the critter that collects the most costumes wins. But watch out for the underwear or you’ll lose all your costumes and have to begin again.
Includes 4 raccoon cards, 20 costume cards, 1 jumbo color die, 1 jumbo costume die, and game guide and a bonus memory game!

Raccoon card and outfit cards
The game is fairly simple to play. This is great as I have a 3 year old who is just learning how to play games and follow the rules. It is simple enough for my 3 year old, yet my 6 year old also enjoys playing it. To play you simply roll the two jumbo sized dice. It will land on a color and a piece of clothing. You then find an outfit that matches the dice and place on your raccoon. The first player to collect 5 costumes wins.
Outfit cards
Dice rolled to green pants and some example outfits matching that roll.

If you roll the underwear your Raccoon loses all of its costumes. If you roll the rainbow you can pick any costume you'd like.

I love how this game helps my 3 year old son with colors, matching, and turn taking.  Made with sturdy, durable cards that require  no reading skills. Game is perfect for my 3 and 6 year old.
