Save money and enter to win, baby formula, puffs, purees and more

Times are hard for everyone. Lets just face that here and now, we all look for the deal/coupsons/saving that we can get, we all want to save some money. But it becomes hard to do that for kids and their foods. Don't even get me starting on how much baby formula is! I think that was a BIG reason why we decided to breastfeed. ITS CHEAP! But how can you save money? Well here is some great info from Perrigo Nutritionals that might just help you find ways to save.

About Perrigo Nutritionals
·         Many moms are not aware that they can save up to 50 percent on infant formula by choosing a store brand over a national brand
·         Store Brand Formula is nutritionally comparable to the national brands, yet are typically up to half the price, and can save you about $600 a year
·         Perrigo Nutritionals is the largest supplier of Store Brand Infant Formula and nutrition products in the world and one of only four companies recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for meeting the strict FDA requirements for safety, nutrition and quality for infant formula-manufacturing in the United States
·         Same standards and expertise used to develop infant formula applied to toddler foods
·         Toddler foods are appropriately developed for variety of stages of growth and motor skills with quality, nutritional ingredients to create foundation of good nutrition

I am no expert when it comes to formula, so I am glad I can share this with my readers who do formula feed. I hope this gives you some ideas on how to save. While I have not used Formula my sister in law did/does. I got to her to the the store brand formula and her daughter took it fine with no problems. She said she would start looking into buying it becasue it is cheaper.

Here are some other tips to save you some money.

Crystal Paine’s 5 Money Saving Tips for Families
Create a Budget
A budget gives you parameters and purpose, it gives you boundaries, and it gives you freedom to live creatively within those boundaries.

Shop With Cash
When you shop with a credit card (or even a debit card, for that matter!) you can have your budget in your head and you can do the best to stick with it when you check out, but it’s so much easier to go just a little bit over here and there when you’re swiping!
Plan a Menu
When you have a plan in place for what you’re supposed to be eating each meal and you’ve already purchased the ingredients for those recipes, it’s a lot harder to justify chucking the plan for takeout.

Use Coupons
Coupons are a great way to save a lot of money on your grocery bill, but they can be hard to keep up with. Clipping, sorting, and organizing coupons takes time — so enter a coupon database! You’ll have access to printable and other coupons currently available and it’s one of the most effective and efficient ways to save money on groceries.

We had the chance to try some parents choice foods and while my son my not have liked the puffs much he loves teh puree pouches. Great for when kids are teething and don't want to bite into thing. But if you get the store band like Parents Choice (walmart) you can end up saving a TON of money.

I have been reading up on a book called  “Say Goodbye to Survival Mode: 9 Simple Strategies to Stress Less, Sleep More, and Restore Your  Passion for Life” by Crystal Paine and it has brought a lot of new ideas on how to save some money. You should check it out if you want to save money without having to put a lot of time into it.

I have always found the best way to find out if your kids like it is to just try it. So you can ether enter to win here or you can go buy the store band insted of the name brand! Oh and here is what you can win:

  • A copy of “Say Goodbye to Survival Mode: 9 Simple Strategies to Stress Less, Sleep More, and Restore Your  Passion for Life” by Crystal Paine
