Liquid Chalkers

My kids love to draw. So I was excited to get a chance to review Liquid Chalkers by Paper and Twine.
What are liquid chalkers? They are non toxic markers that have tips that don't dry out or crack. They are a liquid chalk marker that are completely dust free. They are great for writing on non-porous surfaces.

I tried them out on a variety of surfaces including tile, mirrors, windows and car windshields. The first time you use the markers you have to shake them and then press the tip down several times to allow the liquid chalk to soak into the tip. Future use you simple open and use.
I first tested a small area of a window and then drew lots of hearts. It was fun to draw on something other than a piece of paper. I simply took a wet washcloth and wiped it off when I was done.
Hearts on window. (sorry the other side wasn't clean)
These pens would be awesome for decorating car windows for birthdays/weddings, etc.

I also tested a small area of tile around my bathtub. It easily wiped off the bathtub surface and the tile. So I was happy that I could get my kids excited to get in the tub. I let them color all over and then wipe it off and then I washed them. This is when I found a small problems with using the product this way. Although my tile was non porous and the liquid chalkers wiped off the spacing between tiles was difficult to get the liquid chalk removed. After some scrubbing I was able to get about 90% off of the tile cracks. I won't be using in the tub again because I don't want to have to sit and scrub so much to clean it up. So I would watch out for any cracks/crevices on your surface that might not be as easily wiped up.

My kids loved to draw and color with them. They thought it was neat they were allowed to draw on the mirrors and tile. They even helped to clean up their drawings. I felt safe letting them use these markers as they were non toxic.

Overall I am pleased with this product.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Thanks so much for the review. I seen these about a year ago online, and hesitated about buying any as the reviews were very mixed. Now I will take the plunge, as I'm sure my daughters would have a blast with them.
