I had a friend get married a few months ago, and I missed it. It is in Vegas and I just did not have the money to go. How many of you have had the same problem? Or maybe you are getting married soon and trying to save up. Weddings are not cheap no matter how you look at it. All I see is one mega credit card at the end of the light. Even if you are not getting married or don't know anyone who is think about vacation, going to college, or even buying a home. We all need to put money aside for that. We have been trying to save for a rainy day, its been hard at times. Well now we have decided we want to go to Disney land so we are not saving for a rainy day we are going to save for a sunny one. I think that is important that we put money aside for the fun days as well as the bad. We all could use a good vacation or a wedding to go to.To the left is a picture of my friend and her husband. It was their wedding that I missed. Don't miss any more wedding or vacations with Your Sunny Day
Ryan and I just had our 8 year wedding anniversary and all I can think about is doing something big and fun for our 10 years! So maybe a wedding vow renewal or ohhh how about a 10 year honeymoon cruse! When we first got married we had to do very low budget! So it was a pot luck at our church building with hand me down decorations. Both my brothers did blue as did I so we had that for decorations, and then we also did green. No green is not bad luck at a wedding. I had a friend who said they would not be in my wedding because green is bad luck and its "gangrene" blah I have been married for 8 year and 3 kids we are doing great! I was asked to put together a list of my Top 10 questions I googled (or would google) for weddings:
- What time of the year is best to get married? (Sure spring time but I like winter)
- Best destination weddings? (Depends on the person)
- Honeymoon stays? (I would say Hawaii)
- What are some cute wedding colors? (I love purple and blue, Pick your favorite colors)
- Where can I get a wedding cake? (We made ours)
- Best wedding registry items? (Anything at Bed Bath and Beyond)
- Top 10 wedding songs?
- Wedding dresses. (I got mine for A dream wedding for less)
- Do I really need someone to hold my dress while I pee? (If it is a big dress yes, or just go before hand)
- What can I do to save some money?
As you can tell most of the question do have a price with it. So think of how much all this could cost you and then head over to
