It really is simple to use. You just get your garlic clover, open the press and put it in. Then with very little pressure squeeze it together. I guess they say you don't even need to remove the skin! I always do though.
It is also really easy to clean up, just open it back up and wash with water. And/or every now and then you will want to wash it in the dishwasher. Because it is stainless steal it should last you a while without rusting.
Hubby loves it and has used it every time he wants garlic. It is way better to have fresh garlic and with our new Professional Stainless Steel Garlic Press have it more often. If you are looking for a good press this is our favorite.
