Cave Tools Kabob Skewers Rack
What is on the menu for dinner tonight? We had grilled chicken. I just love cooking on the grill in the fall. The weather has cooled down so it's great to be outside and it means less clean up in the kitchen.
I was really excited to use these kabob skewers- I always forget to soak the wood kind before I use them, then they get burnt and it just becomes a mess. So no pre-planning needed. The tips are very sharp so it is easy to slide the food on. They are nice an long so they hold plenty of stuff.
The best part to me is the cool rack they come with. I was able to get them ready one at a time, put them on the rack and then take the whole thing out to the grill.
I have a small grill but it was no problem, The rack fit on it just fine. The rack has little notches for each skewer to sit on it so you don't have to worry about them sliding or moving. The ends are nice and big so it is easy to grab with a pair of tongs to turn.
In less then 20 minutes dinner is ready to go! During the time you let your meat rest the skewers cool down enough so you can touch them. To get the food off is easy, grab the end and push down on the little circle and it pushes the food off. No sticking or fighting to get it off.
Dinner is done!
