Before I got pregnant I was happy sitting on 125. The day before I gave birth I was 163. Then the day I can home I was 140. Wow I lost 20lbs just giving birth, I was excited I knew I could lose the last 20lbs no problems. Well over the next few month it was heard to exercise and I was not watching what I was eating so now I am at 155 and size 12!!! I was SO not happy about this. When I got this the first thing that came to my head was, "I am going to buy the Baby Brezza now." But I had a feeling that I would not be able to use it on that. My little Aiden who turned 6 months last Monday is now crawling!

Feb. 5, 2011 Three Generations.

Hey all I have some great news..... look up..... up.... look at the URL.....!!!! That's right I have my own domain name! WOOT! I am starting to have things take off. But I have a big problem that YOU might be able to help me with. My Alexa is not talk to me. I have a great score that I have worked hard for, but now that I have a new domain name it can't find it. Did you have this problem when you got your own domain name? I opened a ticket but we all know how long that can take.

Well it is now 3:30pm here and I am at a lost of what to do. I cleaned the bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom. I even started to put things aside for my yard sell next weekend. Aiden just got done having his nap so I can't have one of them. I emailed a bunch of companies. I entered all of my giveaways. So what do I do now? I have never had a day like this where I am not doing something! What do you do when you have done everything?

 To Colorado! My husband and I have been thinking about where we want to call home. I have lived in Arizona all my life, up until I got married. Then I have lived in VA and MD. We just moved back here to AZ in 2010. My sweet sister in law moved to CO about a year ago now and LOVES IT. My family is here in AZ but something just keeps letting me to move. So after a bunch of begging and pleading (not really) to my husband he said YES! So we are going to be moving after Aiden's first birthday. (November some time)

As most of you know Aiden has his second tooth in. It broke through on May 12 and he has been chewing on everything he could get his hands on. Even his hands. So up until about two weeks ago I gave up on wearing jewelry. He's a baby, he pulls and bites on any thing I wear. That's when I found  Smart Mom Jewelry . At first I was not to sure about letting him chew on a neckless. I was worried that it would teach him that he CAN pull and chew on them. But I out smarted him again. I just wore the nice one and the Smart mum one to teach him with he is allowed to play with.

I am sure by now most of you have hear of ether the  The Baby Bullet  or  The Baby Brezza . Both are great for making baby food. But what one should I get? Lets break it down starting with the Bullet. The Bullet for $59.99 (through Facebook) and you get: The Batchbowl Two short cups The power base Baby Blend Blade and Milling Blade The Pocket Nutritionist The Baby Bullet User Manual and Cookbook Six Storage Cups with Date-Dial Lids The Batch Tray So you get a lot of really cool stuff. How ever the Bullet does not cooks, purées or reheats. So if you are making something like sweet potato you need to cook it first.  Now the Brezza. The Brezza is $99.99 and it come by its self. You can go to their web site and down load their cook book though. However the good thing about this one is that it cooks the food. Or if you need to reheat something it steams it so you don't have to put it in the microwave.  So with to buy, the one that has more fo...

What a fun way to find out if you are having a boy or girl. Intelligender is the only test out there that lets you know with 90% accuracy rate. About a year ago I got this kit (back when it was $50) to find out what I was having. You could only tell as soon as 10 weeks, with an ultrasound its about 16 to 21 weeks. I don't know about you but I hate surprises and waiting! In this kit you get four main things. A cup, (to pee in) a syringe, (to collect urine) a test and the instructions. It is really easy to use there are six main steps. Oh and remember you can't have sex 48 hours before taking this test!

Now that you have the right idea down on what a 72 hour kit is and what you need. Here are a few things that you might not have thought about needing. If you have a baby: Cloth diapers (I say this only because of how fast kids grown out of the disposable ones and you never run out of cloth as long as you can clean them) Formula (if you are not breast feeding) Baby food Bottles  Wipes (cloth one or wet ones) Toys Cloths Personal Documents and Money: (Place these items in a water-proof container!) Legal Documents (Birth/Marriage Certificates, Wills, Passports, Contracts, etc) Vaccination Papers Cash Credit Card Pre-Paid Phone Cards Random things: Map Picture of family (in case anyone gets lost) Update your 72 Hour Kit every six months (put a note in your calendar/planner) to make sure that: all food, water, and medication is fresh and has not expired; clothing fits; personal documents and credit cards are up to date; and batteries ar...

With all the things that are happing in the world today its a good idea to have a 72 hour kit. You can't plan for everything and this is just a kit to help you get through the first two day. My church has really push this and it had helped many people.  While living in Maryland two years ago, I was at work when there was a tornado warring. My husband who was at home could feel the whole house shaking. As fast as he could he got us a 72 hour kit together and he did a great job for getting it done in less then five minutes. After that we have always had a kit together just in case.  But with having Aiden now we had to rethink some things. You know needing diapers and cloths for him and food. But here is what a 72 hours kit should have give or take a few things.  Food and Water: Granola Bars canned tuna, beans, Vienna sausages and thing you can eat with out having to heat up. (try to get the ones with the "pop-top" so you don't need a can opener)...

I love this book! Can I just say that from the get go, it's the best book ever. As a new mom I am always worried about when to take Aiden to the doctors or if there is something more I can do. This book goes over everything you need to know about your child's health. It even goes over the symptoms and how to treat them. Here is a great video about the book:

As you my know by now I am a stay at home mom. I would love to go back to work just to make a little bit of money but I don't want to leave my little one. So I was thinking about opening a at home daycare, but I would have to have a lot of kids just to make some good money. Do I really want to have that many kids for 40 hours a week, and taken care of my 5 month old? Not really, there has got to be a better way to make money at home. Well thanks to Business to Blogger I found this great web site called  Start a PreSchool . They tell you how to make anywhere from $1000 a month up to even $4000, and with out working 40 hours a week.

Living in Arizona it seems like every summer you hear about kids drowning in pools. In 2004, there were 3,308 unintentional drownings in the United States, an average of nine kids per day. Having a new born I knew I wanted to get him into swimming classes. I don’t have a pool, but it is still great to teach them about water safety at any age.  So I had a friend tell me about Hubbard Family Swim School. Its free for kids 4 weeks to 6 months, once a week for half an hour. After that it is $75 a month. So I got Aiden in the classes, this was his second week (we could not go last week with him having bronchitis). There is also no more then six kids per class.

Just in case you did not know yet I a a Tommee Mommie big time. When Aiden was first born I had him on a few bottle but he had problems going back to breastfeeding after the bottle.
