Pink Lining diaper bag review

Image
Every mom needs a good sturdy diaper bag. I think I have been through three diaper bags in less then two years now. Most of the time they are so flimsily that they start to fall apart with a month! Or they get stained with drinks and food, and lets face it you can't really clean that out! But Pink Lining diapers bags are made of not only 80% cotton but the canvas is coated with PEVA laminate  (an environmentally friendly, food-safe vinyl that is made without chlorine or plasticizers) & 20% nylon and the lining is 100% nylon. This makes it easier to clean and just wipe off the food.

Purex Baby Detergent

Image
I always have to be careful as to what detergent I get because just about everyone in my house has sensitive skin. That is why I love Purex so much because they make detergent for just about everyone. But I have to say after using the Purex Baby detergent for the first time, I fell in love. I just love how the cloths come out clean and smelling like fresh baby.

Brylane Home: Shark Steam Mop

Image
I'm going to be honest. I hate mopping! I don't like to deal with getting out the mop. Feeling the sink full of water and chemicals and then using that to mop the floor. The water always ends up looking filthy dirty within minutes and then I wonder. Is this dirty water really cleaning my floor? Thankfully Brylane Home sent me a Shark Steam Mop .

5 DIY Fixes Every Girl Should Know How to Do {guest post}

5 DIY Fixes Every Girl Should Know How to Do   I had three older brothers who wouldn’t touch a clogged drain if their lives depended on it—which meant that I was always the one who got roped into my dad’s Mr-Fix-It projects. I wasn’t crazy about it at first, but since I moved out (and especially after we bought our first home), I’ve been continually surprised at how much money and headache we’ve saved by maintaining our home ourselves. So here’s the short list of essential DIY projects that I want my girls to learn. Tell me your best handywoman stories in the comments!

Whiten your teeth with smile brilliant #giveaway

Image
I have always had a hard keeping my teeth white. Its not like I do things that could turn it really yellow like smoking, drinking coffee or anything. I have tried all of the tooth paste out there that says they whiten and they have not worked. Even the strips have not really helped. Then you have to think about how much they cost! It is like your selling your arm just to have some whiter teeth! Then I found Smile Brilliant  a company that says they could help, so I gave them a try. Ok I hate to post this picture but there is only one way for you to know if it really has worked or not...

I can still remember a few weeks before Logan was born, I looked everywhere for that one outfit to take him home in. But the problem was I knew that even thought it says newborn it might till be to big on him. It always seams like their little feet never stay in the onies. Well a company call Innovative Mommas found a way to fix that problem. It's called The Original Baby Ankees , and they slip right over your little ones foot to help keep their feet where they belong.... at the bottom of the onies.

What hurdle stopping parent-child power struggle over school homework {guest post}

What hurdle stopping parent-child power struggle over school homework Introduction Brought up of Childhood is an essential aspect in the parent's world. When kids grow up, their major nightmare is homework. Reason is kids even elder kids are always playful and they like to spend their time and enjoy the life as they like. They do not have any seriousness and understand the responsibilities. It is the parent's duty to guide them in a lovely manner and force the parent -child empowerment. Let us see that in detail. Keep a Close Watch children world is always expectations and their superior model is parents only if they are the only one kid in the home or additionally they consider their brother or sister as role model. Parent's supervision with proximity techniques help the kids to get encouraged a lot. It is better to make the child to sit and do the homework whichever convenient to them. But it should be noted carefully that during that time they should not get di...

Why I have been gone...

Image
Hey all so as most, well all of you should know I had a baby boy December 10. I took some much needed time off due. Now that I am back I want to tell you a little more about what happened so you all can be prepared if you have this problem. Some time ago I decided I wanted to have a midwife but not birth at home. You might be asking what a midwife is and why would I pick that and not a OBGYN? Midwifes are certified by the state to birth your child. They go with more of the natural way, with no drugs, epidural and they try to help this be an exciting experience not a scary one. Here is a picture of my midwife, Susan McConaughy .

BabySpa review

Image
I just love baby shampoo and lotion. They always have that new born smell to them. It makes you want to just grab your little one and snuggle them close. One baby product I have is Baby Spa.  They not only smell great but they also use natural ingredients. Baby Spa send me a few of their products to not only try out on Logan but also on Aiden (and me too ).

Extra wide glider with ottoman from Brylane Home

Image
One thing every new mom needs is a rocking chair. Its great for rocking the baby to sleep and great for breastfeeding too. About five years ago I found the rocking chair I wanted. Well it was not a rocking chair so much as a glider. However at the time not only did we not the money for it but we also did not have the space. Well I ended up glad that we did not get it. We about two years ago had to move cross county with whatever we could fit into the van. So we would have lot it. That is why it really meant the world to me when Brylane Home  offered me one to review.

New photos of Beanie Designs

I had to do an update on Beanie Designs and let you see both Aiden and Logan in them. Its been about a month now and I would still say that they make some of the cutest baby hats out there.

Signazon part 2

Image
Hey all I wanted to do a quick update on the gift I gave my mother in law from Signazon.com  We made her a vinyl banner that said happy birthday. We did not want to add a age because ... well you all should know why :) But also so she can use the banner every year. She was surprised and very excited. Its not every day that you get something like this!

Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water, helps with gas

Image
My poor little Logan has bad gas sometimes. To the point where he will scream and cry until he farts! I really did not want to give him anything that had a ton of chemical crap in it. That is one main reason why I love Mommy's Bliss gripe water  so much, They are safe and natural! It has organic ginger extract and fennal extract. This can also be used on babies as young as 2 weeks up to adults! Most products out there tell you to wait until they are 2 years old (now how is that going to help me now?). So not only is this good for my son (who like I said gets bad gas every now and then) but also for me if I start to feel sick.

Hotslings review part 2

Image
Well its been about a month now that I have been trying out hotslings . Got to say at first I did not like it much because I felt like he was going to fall out or because it was to tight. I really wanted to give them my time a effort into really trying it out. So now after about a month and going back and watching the videos on how to get Logan into the carrier I am starting to like it more. With Aiden I did the moby wrap and while I loved it, it took forever to put on and off. With Hotslings it just goes over the shoulder, that's it. So if you are looking for a baby carrier that is quick and easy, try hotslings . And give it a few time to really try it out to make sure you got not only the right size but also that you are working it right. Just like anything it might take a few time to really get the hang of it.
